Lost Soul Aside has reached the gold stage
After a grueling development journey that spanned nearly a decade, UltiZero Games has officially announced that its highly anticipated title, Lost Soul Aside, has gone gold. This milestone signifies that the game’s development is fully complete and it is ready for production ahead of its scheduled release on August 29, 2025 .
The announcement puts an end to years of anticipation and uncertainty surrounding the fate of the game, which began as a solo project in 2016 by developer Yang Bing. At the time, the game drew attention for its design inspired by Final Fantasy XV, particularly the resemblance between its protagonist, Kazer, and Noctis, which earned it early popularity among fans of Japanese role-playing games. This initial success led Yang Bing to establish his own studio and later receive direct support from Sony, transforming his independent dream into a major title .
