Sucker Punch, the developer of "Ghost of Yotei," has announced new information regarding a free additional mode that will be released for the game, named "Legends." This mode will provide a cooperative gameplay experience, allowing players to immerse themselves in story-driven missions that support cooperative play for two to four players.

The Legends mode bears similarities to the mode found in "Ghost of Tsushima," but it will offer a greater variety of narrative missions. It is expected that there will be four different factions for players to choose from, each with unique abilities and moves, although specific details about these factions have yet to be revealed. More information about these factions is anticipated to emerge before the mode's release, which is scheduled for 2026.

The team also noted that the gameplay style in Legends will be entirely different from the "Heros" factions found in "Ghost of Tsushima." Players will face new enemies that are larger and more powerful, along with a diverse set of combat abilities.
